Notes

• Grade and duration. No publisher or composer page was found (Harper Music Publications appears to have no website of its own), so both are left empty. Retailers give 12:30 (World of Brass and Studio Music listings on brassband.co.uk) and "about 12 minutes" (Stretta). Stretta's label "Demanding" is a retailer label and is ignored.
• Publisher. Harper Music Publications and HARP 011-030 come from the Stretta listing. The brassband.co.uk listings show the same code (HARP011030) only in their image file names, and one listing is filed under a "dehaske" supplier, which may be a distributor. The score was not seen.
• Year and occasion. 4barsrest says it was written in 2024 for the 35th anniversary of the Orchestre de Cuivres Amiens; Brass Band Results and Stretta also give 2024. No premiere was found.
• Instrumentation. No score sample or parts list was found, so the section is empty.
• Media. The CD's label is not named on the review page (the catalogue prefix is DOY), and its release year is not stated. The GUS Band recording dates from 2025.
• Contest Use. All 12 set test-piece uses on Brass Band Results are listed, all of them held. 4barsrest also names the 2025 French National Championship (Third Division) as its first set-test use. The Brass Band Results page gives that contest as 16 February 2025.
• Composer's other works. Not researched here.
• Composer's site (checked 2026-11-08). Philip Harper's own site (philipharper.co.uk, which redirects to harpermusic.co.uk) names Harper Music Publications as the exclusive publisher of his music and Music Shop Europe as its official supplier. It has no catalogue, so it gives no grade, duration, premiere or instrumentation. Music Shop Europe returned HTTP 403.
• Studio Music listing (read 2026-11-08). Studio Music sells the work (score and parts HARP 011-030, £94.99; score only HARP 011-130, £43.99, matching the prices shown) and shows Difficulty D - Advanced, Grade 4 and Duration 12.30. Harper Music Publications is not a Studio Music imprint, so these are seller's figures and are not used. Whether the Grade 4 comes from the publisher is not stated.
